Summer of Soul

SunnyBoy traveled to NYC to film Ahmir 'Questlove' Thompson to support his new film Summer of Soul (...or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised). We designed a projection installation to film his interview and spent a morning with him at the site of the event in Harlem, now known as Marcus Garvey Park. It's an exceptional film full of joy and a celebration of black culture. It was an honor to be a part of it.
