SunnyBoy partnered with A24 to create Building the Backrooms — a 25‑minute behind‑the‑scenes documentary that peels back the curtain on how the Backrooms transformed from an eerie, liminal space shaped by a chorus of online users into a fully realized physical world. The film follows Director Kane Parsons as he bridges the gap between the haunting digital realm he built in Blender for his viral YouTube series and the ground‑up construction of its real‑world counterpart for the feature adaptation.
