SunnyBoy worked with director Andy Muschetti and star Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise) on crafting this one of a kind Virtual Reality experience that takes you into the sewers of Derry, Maine. SunnyBoy produced and directed this immersive experience on location in Toronto and on a special shoot in Los Angeles filming Skarsgard with a customized stereoscopic rig. Utilizing scans of the sets and VFX assets we brought the entire world to life. Our experience premiered at Comic-Con and then was taken on a month long road trip via a Derry School Bus for an activation that had people waiting hours in cities across North America. The bus landed in Hollywood at a recreation of the Neibolt House from the film during it's opening weekend.

The next chapter of the IT VR Universe is IT: Escape from Pennywise. This interactive VR experience takes you inside the Neibolt house and allows you to choose multiple doors to determine your fate as you come face-to-face with Pennywise. SunnyBoy executed the production shooting both on the set of the film in Toronto and in Los Angeles with talent from the film including Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) and Georgie (Jackson Robert Scott). We created all of the VFX, Interactivity and Spatial Sound Design in house.
